Major Activities:

Till date Agragamee, the implementing agency has been conducted the following key activities under the ERYA (Encouraging Rural Youths in Agriculture) project in Nabarangpur District of Odisha.
The Baseline Survey for selection of 250 rural youth has completed to shortlist 750 Rural Youth of ERYA Project.
The indicative list of 375 youth for first set of 125 youth for first year (2024-25) has been completed.
Agragamee has been consulted with the all relevant line departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Umerkote and CBO/FPOs to select final youth for ERYA project.
2 nos. of Skill Development Training on “Commercial Mushroom Cultivation” have completed for 50 youth trainees.
One Skill Development Training on “Fishery and Poultry Farming” has been conducted for 25 youth trainees.
2 nos. Exposure Visit of 50 youth trainees under “Commercial Mushroom Cultivation” training have completed.
One Exposure Visit of 25 youth trainees under “Fishery and Poultry Farming” training have completed.
Till date 50 trained youth have started Mushroom Cultivation as post training activities. Total 47.06 Qtl. of Oyster Mushroom has been harvested by 50 youth out of which 41.3 Qtl. of Mushroom has been sold by 50 youth in local market @18000/- per Qtl. Total Rs. 7.43 Lakh has been generated as income from Oyster Mushroom by 50 youth.
The Model Business Plan of 5 Agri Trades (Commercial Mushroom Cultivation, Nursery Raising and Management, Fishery, Certified Seed Production & Organic Input Production) has prepared by Agragamee.
Till date 7 nos. of Project Monitoring and Review Committee (PMRC) meetings have conducted (1st Meeting – dt. 7.11.2023, 2nd Meeting – 31.01.2024, 3rd Meeting – 20.06.2024, 4th Meeting – 9.08.2024, 5th Meeting – 27.09.2024, 6th Meeting – 19.12.2024 and 7th Meeting – 17.01.2025). The proceedings of all these PMRC meetings have submitted to the RO accordingly.
All the above project activities have been conducted as per action plan and suggestion of the PMRC members.
The training module of 7 agriculture activities has completed with the help of line departments and the PMRC members.
The PMRC members visited the sites of three Mushroom Production and Spawn Units established by the youth of 1st batch trainee of Commercial Mushroom Cultivation in Nandahandi and Nabarangpur Blocks in Nabarangpur on dt. 17.01.2025.
